2016 Theological Seminary Full-time Minister Training Program Recruitment

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

Hallelujah! Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Praise and thank the Lord for His grace and guidance, the sacred work in the United States has been progressing steadily.  Currently, there are twelve full-time ministers to shepherd twenty-four churches, six houses of prayer, and four meeting places in the U.S.A. In order to meet the spiritual needs of each local area, it is our goal to provide one pastor to shepherd two churches.

Therefore, the USGA Theological Seminary will sponsor the Theological Training Program (TTP) up to recruit two (2) students as potential full-time ministers. Please especially pray for this matter.  May the Lord move and inspire Spirit-filled youths to dedicate themselves to serve Him.

Enclosed please find the 2016 TTP Application Form and Application Guidelines.

Thank you and may the abundant grace of our Lord Jesus be with you always!

Yours in Christ,

Steve Hwang

2015 Southwest Region Winter Student Spiritual Convocation

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Please be informed that the Winter Student Spiritual Convocation for the Southwest Region will be held from December 19, 2015 to December 25, 2015. Details are as follows:

December 19:     Registration (5:00 pm), Dinner (5:30 pm)

Opening Ceremony & Orientation (7:00-9:00 pm)

December 25:     SSC concludes by 2:30 pm

Location:             Baldwin Park Church, California

Theme:                A Life of Holiness

We are pleased to announce that the West Region will be hosting the J1 & J2 Student Spiritual Convocation (SSC) at Baldwin Park Church from December 19-25, 2015. The theme for this SSC is “A Life of Holiness”.

Starting with this Winter Student Spiritual Convocation, we will be allowing students who are currently in 6th grade to attend. Therefore, attendees for this convocation must be in grades 6, 7-9, or 10-12, corresponding to final-year E2, Junior 1, and Junior 2 students in most churches.

This year, we would like all the attending students to participate in “Give as God Gave: Wear a Pair, Give a Pair”, a charity shoe drive aimed at collecting gently-used, wearable shoes for children in need in Africa. Many children in Africa are without shoes and this exposes them to many diseases that they can contract while walking on dirty ground. Together, we can collect our old shoes and turn them into their new shoes! Please refer to the attached flier for more details.

Registration for the Winter Student Spiritual Convocation will be on paper only; minors must submit paper copies of the Registration Form (complete with guardian signature). Enclosed is a “General Information Sheet” that attendees must read prior to the Convocation. We request that RE Coordinators (or Religious Affairs) make announcements in each local church, make copies of the attached forms and sign-up sheets, collect all the completed forms, and return them beforeNovember 8th to Sister Linda Suryani: 3700 South Sepulveda Blvd. Apt 224, Los Angeles, CA 90034.

We would like to ask for your favor in submitting all the student registration information in electronic form as well to increase the accuracy of the students’ information. The blank form for Group Registration will be sent via e-mail to all the churches and RE Coordinators. Please e-mail the completed Group Registration forms to Sister Linda (lindaindo@gmail.com).

If you have additional questions regarding the SSC, please contact the General Coordinator, Pastor Chen (gienhungc@gmail.com) or the Counseling Coordinator, Sister Patricia Chen (patri.chen@tjc.org).

Please pray for the success of this important spiritual event. May God bless you!

Yours in Christ,

Deacon Horn Hsieh

Southwest Region Coordinator
